Join us for a summer full of fun at Brookfield School Summer Camp! Running from June 16 to August 8.

This week, March 3-7, is Celebrate Reading Week. Our teachers are designing activities to celebrate this time in class. P1-2 had the opportunity to listen to two authors' read-alouds. [Click title for more details.]

On February 28, Brookfield scholars presented an amazing Black History Month Program. The event included: vendors, dancers, speakers, and ended with a fashion show that celebrated fashion from decade to decade. It was all from the creative vision of our preschool director, Ms. Day.

This Holiday Season, Brookfield students had the opportunity to serve the community by participating in service projects. First, there was Run to Feed the Hungry in which Dhruv Atray organized a team to participate in the Run. Next, the school collected bins of non-perishable items and toys for the Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center. Classrooms were teeming with donations! (Click to view the donation collection)

Mr. Cobley's STEM class had the wondrous opportunity to compete against other students from all over the world as they raced Hydrogen Powered Cars in the H2 Grand Prix PRO (https://saf.steam.edu.az/en). The event took place from October 24-25, 2024 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Brookfield students study either French or Spanish as a core language from K-8, resulting in great retention and impressive fluency! Congratulations to these students who took Le Grand Concours National French Contest and were recognized for their fluency. We had two Gold Medalists, five Silver Medalists, two Bronze Medalists, and eight Honorable Mentions. Wow!

We are so excited for Nithika who won the qualifying Spelling Bee among a field of 40 top competitors from the greater Sacramento region! The next stop for her is the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C.

Ryan takes the Brookfield Pillar "Be Kind" to heart. She was featured in a local shelter's Facebook Post.
