Ms. Souzie Fonte joined Brookfield's K-8 School Faculty in 2024 as a partner teacher in Pre-first after a successful tenure as a Pre-kindergarten teacher at the Brookfield Preschool.  She has over 30 years experience as an early childhood specialist. 

She loves providing children with opportunities to grow and develop the skills that will help them become successful students, while watching their  love for learning continue to grow.  Prior to joining Brookfield, she taught 4/5yr old children for 18 years, directed an after-school program for students in grades K through 6 grade for a year, served as a preschool director for 3 years, and was the lead teacher in a 2/3’s combination class.

Ms. Fonte strives to provide a classroom where children are engaged with many hands on activities, and where their creativity and independence can thrive. She enjoys developing fun art projects, sharing fun learning games, and reading stories to her students.

When she's not teaching, she is at home with her husband and spending time with her family.  She especially enjoys camping, hiking, biking, spending time by the pool, and all things Disney!  Additionally, Ms. Fonte enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and photography.
