Hi Friends! 

My name is Ms. Destiny. I was born and raised in Sacramento, CA and I have been a preschool teacher for 4 years, and volunteering with children since I was 16. I grew up with four brothers, and was raised by both my mom and my dad. I love to travel, spend time with my family, read new books, dabble in photography, and fitness. I have always had a great passion for working with children, and taking care of my younger brothers. My interest was sparked following my youngest brother's diagnosis of autism, which changed the dynamics of my entire household. I wanted to understand him and others like him, so I began volunteering in special needs classes at local public schools, assisted living homes, and Easter Seals. My passion begins with the success of the children, and their comfortability within the environment in which I create. I am very happy to be a part of the Brookfield Community to provide an understanding, warm, and loving learning experience.
