We are proud of Tammy Lee, the winner of our school Geography Bee Contest, who just received notification that she has qualified to compete at the State level of the National Geographic Bee in April. Tammy is pictured with our Social Studies teacher, Mr. Bogart.

Our Middle School Students had a lot of fun celebrating Pi Day and sharing Pi's "magical powers" with the primary students at various activity stations. We are proud of Norah, who found $16 in cash on the ground and turned it in to the office. She found it on a Bake Sale day, which must have made doing the honest thing very hard to do! Dr. Jo put the cash in an envelope and told Norah the cash would be hers if no one claimed it. Weeks went by, and Dr. Jo forgot about the envelope, but Norah never asked about it. The envelope was just discovered as Dr. Jo was organizing her desk, so guess who hit the jackpot?
Congratulations, Norah! You earned the $16, and a Principal's Commendation for being a great example of "Brookfield Way" to others.
