For several years now, Christian Brothers High School has hosted an annual Math Invitational that is open to middle schools and K-8 schools throughout the greater Sacramento region. 22 schools participated this year, sending their top Math students to compete in team and individual events. Participating schools included St. Michael's Episcopal Day School, Winston Churchill Middle School, Golden Hills, and many regional parochial schools.
Not only did our students do exceptionally well in this competition, our 7th Grade Team was recognized by the tournament organizers for their good sportsmanship during an unfortunate turn of events that put them at a disadvantage in the team competition. We are proud that our students take "Brookfield Way" with them wherever they go, even in the heat of competition!
Special thanks to our Middle School Math Specialist and Math Team Coach, Mrs. Audrey Brandt, for the excellent preparation she has given our team throughout the year.
